How do I make matcha?

Sift the powder into the bowl, add a little hot (not boiling) water and whisk with the chasen in a zigzag motion until you get a fine foam. For a latte, top up with warm or cold milk.

What's the difference between matcha and hojicha?

Matcha is finely ground green tea. Hojicha is made from roasted green tea, which makes it milder and slightly nutty.

What's in the starter set?
