Refund policy
You can return an item within 30 days of receiving it. This does not apply to opened matcha or hojicha tins and other sealed food items, which we cannot take back once the seal is broken.
To be eligible, the item must be unused, in its original packaging and in the condition you received it. You will need your order number or proof of purchase.
How to start a return
Email support@jondal.co with your order number and the item you want to return. If the return is accepted, we send you the return address and instructions. Items sent back without a prior request are not accepted.
Return shipping is at your own cost. If the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, the return is free and we cover the shipping.
Damaged, faulty or wrong items
Check your order when it arrives. If something is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email us within 48 hours with a photo and we will replace it or refund you.
Items we cannot take back
Opened tins of matcha or hojicha and other opened food items, sale items and gift cards.
Exchanges
The quickest way is to return the item and place a new order for the one you want.
Refunds
Once we receive and check your return, we let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may need a few more days to show it. If you have not seen the refund after 15 business days, email support@jondal.co.
Customers in the EU or UK
You have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, by emailing support@jondal.co. Send the items back within 14 days of telling us. Sealed food items that have been opened are excluded for hygiene reasons. We refund the purchase price and standard outbound shipping within 14 days of your notice, and may wait until the goods are back with us or you have shown proof of shipment. Your statutory rights for faulty goods are not affected.
